Model TSP9306 Auto Darkening Welding Helmet from Total
High quality auto-darkening welding mask designed for eye and facial skin protection against arc light, splash and harmful IR/UV radiation.
Ideal for most welding applications including MMA, MIG/MAG, and TIG welding, and can be applied to hand welding, gas protected welding, argon arc welding and plasma cutting. Not suitable for laser and oxy-acetylene welding.
Features high-end technology utilizing spectral filtering via photoelectric sensors with liquid crystal light-control technology, powered by lithium batteries and a solar cell.
Simply put, an electronic dimming filter built into the helmet's viewing lens automatically changes its liquid crystal state from bright to dark as it senses arc light, and changes from dark to bright in the absence of arc light (as when welding is finished).
