About Kalea Philippines
1898: Kalea is founded in Gothenburg, Sweden by engineer Knut Anders Larsson. The name comes from Knut Anders Larssons Elektriska Aktiebolag(Aktiebolag=Ltd) meaning Knut Anders Larssons’s Electric Company Ltd. Kalea begins by doing electric installations and lifting equipment for the Gothenburg harbor. 1920: Kalea begins to import and install passenger lifts. A decade later, Kalea begins manufacturing traction lifts as well. 2008: Kalea acquired by Cibes Lift Group, complementing Cibes’ high-end customized line with its standardized one.
At Kalea, we pioneered the standardization of lifts. Just like Henry Ford standardized his Model-T production to offer amazing quality for an affordable price, so has the Kalea Lift standardized its K300, K400, and K500 models. The result?
