About Calamba Allied Industrial Corporation
In 1964, the company started out as a small shop offering services in motor rewinding and battery assembly repair. From rewinding jobs evolved such services as engine overhauling, jeep repair, and dealership of RAMCAR batteries under the business name WILLIAM ELECTRIC AND MOTOR WORKS in 1967 at Crossing, Calamba City, Laguna.
?
Its founder, Mr. Wilfredo L. Opulencia, had a vision to make his modest shop into an enterprise with a wider range of services such as electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering services. Thus, the Calamba Allied Industrial Enterprises (CAIE) was born in 1978. Sixteen years after (1994), it became a family corporation known as Calamba Allied Industrial Corporation (CAIC) offering a full range of engineering services manned by competent engineers and technicians with modest plant facility that houses the rewinding and fabrication shop.
The acquisition of heavy equipment like bulldozer, grader, backhoe, etc. were added to its long list which compelled the company to move from its former site to a bigger space in Barangay San Cristobal, where it is currently located.
